Synopsis
Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland (2017) is a Lifetime TV movie you can watch online on iFILM — a drama built around the firsthand account of two men who guarded the King of Pop through the last years of his life. Director Dianne Houston drew directly from the memoir by bodyguards Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard.
Chad L. Coleman plays Whitfield and Sam Adegoke plays Beard — two professionals who watched Jackson at close range, past the performances and the legend. What they describe is quieter: a father hiding in borrowed mansions with three kids, avoiding cameras, reading bedtime stories, afraid to walk outside.
