The Outpost (2018) is a fantasy action series you can watch online on iFILM. Jessica Green plays Talon, the sole survivor of the Blackbloods — her entire village was slaughtered before the first episode ends. The trail she follows leads to a remote garrison at the edge of the known world, a crossroads of mercenaries, smugglers and people who ended up there because they ran out of better options.

Along the way Talon finds she can summon a creature from another plane of existence. She did not ask for this ability and has no idea how to control it. Jake Stormoen plays Garret, the garrison commander, and their dynamic grows slowly across multiple seasons without tidy resolution. The show ran on The CW, expanding by its fourth season into a full-scale war against a fanatic religious order.
