Ray Breslin makes his living testing prison security from the inside: he gets locked up, maps the weaknesses, and walks out. Breslin's one ally inside is Emil Rottmayer, played by Schwarzenegger. Stallone works the angles while Schwarzenegger handles brute force, and together they piece together an escape that looks impossible on paper. Sam Neill appears as the prison doctor, Vinnie Jones plays the muscle on the warden's side.
