About

Synopsis

About Time (2013) is a romantic fantasy-drama written and directed by Richard Curtis — watch it online on iFILM. On his 21st birthday, Tim Lake learns from his father (Bill Nighy) that every man in their family can travel back through his own past: no machine, no portal, just a dark cupboard and clenched fists. The rules are narrow — he can only revisit moments he lived through himself.

Tim's first instinct is entirely predictable: use the gift to meet a girl. He does meet Mary (Rachel McAdams), though it takes more than one attempt to get the introduction right. Domhnall Gleeson plays Tim with a gentle, self-deprecating wit; the character gradually figures out that replaying moments doesn't fix the underlying problem — it just sharpens your eye for what you missed the first time. Margot Robbie appears in an early supporting role.

Curtis wrote the screenplay after Love Actually and Four Weddings and a Funeral, and the film is quieter than either — less about romantic mishaps, more about what you do with ordinary Tuesday afternoons. Stream About Time (2013) in full online on iFILM.
