Synopsis
Cowboys & Aliens (2011) — watch online on iFILM — is director Jon Favreau's genre mashup that drops Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford into the Arizona frontier of 1873. Craig plays a man who wakes up in the desert with no name, no past, and a strange metal cuff locked around his wrist.
He stumbles into the dusty town of Absolution, where hard-nosed cattle baron Colonel Dolarhyde (Ford) runs everything by force. Before the two men can settle their score, alien aircraft tear through the sky and start snatching townspeople whole. The cuff turns out to be the only weapon that can hurt them. Cowboys, outlaws, and Apache warriors who have no reason to trust each other suddenly have every reason to fight side by side.
