Synopsis

Former spy Elizabeth (Helen Mirren), nurse Joyce (Celia Imrie), psychiatrist Ibrahim (Ben Kingsley) and hot-tempered union man Ron (Pierce Brosnan) sink their teeth into a real murder faster than the local police can. They lie, charm and quietly blackmail witnesses, lift evidence out from under the younger detectives (David Tennant, Naomi Ackie) and slowly drag into the light a story someone meant to bury with the victim.
