InterReflections
Which side of history will you be on?
Synopsis
InterReflections (2020) is an American science-fiction docudrama by Peter Joseph that you can watch online on iFILM. It's the scripted next chapter of his Zeitgeist project: a view from a future where humanity has already rebuilt society, looking back at the world we live in now.
From a civilization that finally turned humane, the narrators glance backward and wonder how we lasted as long as we did. Capitalism, total dependence on technology, a planet burned through — Joseph treats these not as plot but as charges in an indictment. Several interwoven characters and storylines work more as illustrations of the argument than as conventional drama. Be ready for the runtime, too: it runs close to three hours.
Fair warning — this isn't a movie in the usual sense so much as Joseph's manifesto in film form, very much an acquired taste. It rewards viewers who followed Zeitgeist and don't mind open advocacy for a "resource-based economy"; everyone else may feel lectured at. The tagline puts it bluntly: which side of history will you be on? Stream InterReflections (2020) online on iFILM.
