Buried Alive

Buried Alive (1990) is an American TV thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Frank Darabont and starring Tim Matheson and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

Clint Goodman runs a construction company, pays his bills, and trusts his wife. Joanna has other plans. She and her lover, a local doctor, measure out a fish-toxin poison calibrated to look like cardiac arrest. Clint is buried fast, in a cheap coffin, not very deep.

Darabont made this before The Shawshank Redemption — it's one of his early directing credits, and the hallmarks are already there: controlled pacing, a slow build, and a sense that the story knows exactly where it's going.
