About

Synopsis

Crocodile Dundee (1986) is the adventure comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Mick Dundee is a tall tale come to life — a crocodile hunter who supposedly survived a beast that tore off half his leg. New York reporter Sue Charlton flies to the Australian Outback to find out how much of the legend is real. Director Peter Faiman built the film around Paul Hogan.

The first half belongs to the bush. Mick reads tracks, stares down a charging buffalo, and treats deadly waters like a backyard pond, while Sue slowly stops laughing and starts falling for him. Then she brings him home, and the joke flips. A man who fears nothing in the wild is baffled by escalators, subway crowds and bidets, yet handles Manhattan muggers with one calm flick of a hunting knife. Linda Kozlowski plays the reporter caught between two worlds.

Hogan didn't just star — he created the character and co-wrote the script, and the picture became the highest-grossing Australian film of its era, spawning two sequels and an Oscar nod for its screenplay. "That's not a knife. THAT's a knife" still gets quoted decades later. Stream Crocodile Dundee (1986) online on iFILM.
