Robert Pattinson plays Bruce Wayne two years into his vigilante career — already consumed by Gotham, driven by punishment rather than justice. When a serial killer called the Riddler (Paul Dano) starts picking off city officials and leaving coded messages addressed specifically to Batman, the investigation unravels layers of corruption running through the mayor's office, the police department and Carmine Falcone's (John Turturro) crime syndicate. Detective Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) works the case from inside; Selina Kyle (Zoë Kravitz) pursues her own agenda; the Penguin (Colin Farrell) sits at the crossroads. Every answer leads to something darker about the Wayne family.
