For two minutes and seventeen seconds, every person on Earth blacks out at the same moment. When they come to, each one carries a vision: a two-minute window into their own life six months ahead. FBI agent Mark Benford sees himself alive, working a case about the blackout itself. His partner Demetri Noh sees nothing at all — which, as the team quickly realizes, likely means he won't be alive to see that day. The investigation into what caused the event becomes inseparable from the question of whether the futures people glimpsed can be changed.

The series ran for one season on ABC, 22 episodes through 2010, and features Dominic Monaghan in a sharp supporting role.
