Synopsis
The Beatles: George (2028) is a music biopic directed by Sam Mendes — watch it online on iFILM. One of four standalone films about the Fab Four, each told through the eyes of a single band member, this chapter belongs to George Harrison.
Joseph Quinn plays the so-called "quiet Beatle," the guitarist who spent years writing songs that rarely made the cut, then traveled to India, picked up a sitar, and came back a different musician altogether. Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson, and Barry Keoghan appear as the other three. Mendes doesn't trace a career arc so much as peel back the interior life of a man perpetually standing two steps to the left of the spotlight.
A UK–US co-production, the film is part of Mendes' unprecedented four-film project — each feature independent, each shot with a different lead.
