Synopsis

Shrek has never celebrated Christmas before. He promises Fiona and the kids a quiet, cozy evening — tree, a bedtime story, no crowd. Donkey and Puss in Boots have other ideas. They show up with the full company, and what was supposed to be an intimate family night turns into the loudest gathering the swamp has ever seen. Shrek's patience runs out fast, and he's dangerously close to becoming the grump who ruins Christmas for everyone.
The special aired on ABC in November 2007, just months after Shrek the Third, drawing over 20 million viewers on its first broadcast.
