Luca

Luca (2021) is a Pixar animated film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Enrico Casarosa, who drew on his own childhood summers in Genoa to shape the story. Luca befriends the freewheeling Alberto (Jack Dylan Grazer), and the two throw themselves into the rhythms of a small coastal town: pasta, gelato, a local Vespa-obsessed triathlon, and the ever-present risk that a sudden splash will expose what they actually are. Casarosa's film runs just 71 minutes and never wastes a frame of it — composer Dan Romer's score turns sunny afternoons into something genuinely bittersweet.
