It's 1969. Indy is edging toward retirement, looking out of place in a world that has moved on without him. Then an old enemy resurfaces — a Nazi scientist named Voller, played with icy precision by Mads Mikkelsen — and the target is the Antikythera mechanism, an ancient device that may do far more than chart the stars. Indy's goddaughter Helena, played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, shows up with her own reasons for wanting the artifact. She's quick, untrustworthy, and more interesting than anyone expects.
