Synopsis

The GT Academy competition pulled a handful of top-ranked sim racers out of their bedrooms and put them through a professional driver training programme. Madekwe plays Jann — a Welsh kid who can lap a virtual Nürburgring in his sleep but has no idea what 200 km/h feels like when the car is real. Harbour plays Jack Salter, a washed-out racing coach who thinks the whole scheme is a PR stunt. Bloom is the Nissan marketing executive who dreamed it up.
