Synopsis
El ser querido / The Beloved (2026) is a Spanish-French drama you can watch online on iFILM. Esteban offers Emilia a role in his new film — officially to give her stalled acting career a push. On set, father and daughter grow closer than they have in years. The proximity also digs up what both of them buried: resentments that calcified in silence, wounds that were never properly closed. Marina Foïs and Raúl Arévalo appear in supporting roles.
Sorogoyen is the director behind As Bestas, which won three Goya Awards and reached the Oscar shortlist — his work consistently strips down power, guilt and family damage without flinching.
