Return to Silent Hill

Return to Silent Hill (2026) is a horror film directed by Christophe Gans, adapted from Konami's Silent Hill 2 — watch it online on iFILM. Jeremy Irvine plays James Sunderland, an artist who gets a letter from a woman he thought he'd lost. The letter pulls him back to a town that no longer belongs to the living.

Silent Hill greets James with fog, rust and creatures that seem tailored to his worst memories. Robert Strange takes on the role of Pyramid Head, the iconic figure from the original game. Hannah Emily Anderson plays multiple versions of the same woman — Mary, Maria, Angela — each one a different angle on guilt and grief. The score comes from Akira Yamaoka, who composed the music for the Silent Hill games and brings that same unsettling atmosphere into the cinema.
