Dept. Q (2025) — watch online on iFILM: a British-American crime drama starring Matthew Goode as Senior Inspector Carl Mørck. After taking a bullet on the job, Mørck is reassigned not back to active duty but to a basement office full of unsolved case files. His superiors call it a step toward recovery. He calls it a dead end.

The team he's given is a collection of people nobody else particularly wanted. Together they go back through cases that were closed years — sometimes decades — ago, and they keep finding things that were missed the first time around. Edinburgh is more than backdrop here; the city's geography, weather and social texture feed directly into how the investigations unfold. The ensemble includes Chloe Pirrie, Jamie Sives, Kelly Macdonald and Kate Dickie. The series adapts Jussi Adler-Olsen's Danish novel cycle about the Department Q unit.
