Created by Amber Noizumi and Michael Green — who co-wrote Logan — the show stars Maya Erskine as the voice of the protagonist, with Kenneth Branagh as a British merchant whose illegal presence in Japan is the thread she follows. George Takei, Masi Oka, and Randall Park round out the ensemble. Eight episodes in the first season, already renewed for a second.
