Meryem fights to keep her brother safe while also crossing paths with Levent, a man weighted down by his own grief who has largely stopped trying. Two people with nothing left to lose, slowly finding reasons to keep going.

The show sits squarely in the Turkish family drama tradition but doesn't soften its premise — the violence in Meryem's backstory is treated with more weight than the genre usually allows.
