The Recruit (2022) is a Netflix spy action series you can watch online on iFILM, starring Noah Centineo as Owen Huntington — a freshly minted CIA lawyer who thought the job would mean paperwork.

It starts with a stack of threatening letters sitting in the agency's legal slush pile. Owen pulls one, and suddenly he's the point man on a case involving a former asset who knows enough to burn careers — and is very willing to do it. What follows sends him ricocheting between manipulative handlers, foreign intelligence services and people who are definitely not who they say they are. His law-school training covers almost none of it.

Produced with action director Doug Liman attached to key episodes, the series runs hard on both thriller tension and dry comedy. Season one dropped in December 2022, season two followed in 2024. Stream The Recruit online on iFILM.
