Synopsis
The Ballad of Nessie (2011) is a Disney animated short you can watch online on iFILM. Hand-drawn in a warm storybook style, it follows Nessie — the gentle Loch Ness monster — living quietly in a little blue pond with her best pal MacQuack, a rubber duck.
Trouble arrives when a greedy developer drains the pond to put up a miniature golf course, leaving Nessie to wander off in search of somewhere new to belong. Along the way the film spins a tall tale about how Loch Ness itself came to be.
