Marco Polo (2014) is a Netflix historical adventure series you can watch online on iFILM. A young Venetian merchant arrives at the court of Kublai Khan and finds himself trapped between two worlds — his own and one that runs on conquest.

Lorenzo Richelmy plays the explorer thrown into the politics of the Mongol Empire. Benedict Wong's Kublai Khan dominates every room he enters. Joan Chen and Michelle Yeoh round out a cast navigating court rivalries, martial duels and treachery inside the Khan's own family. Shot largely in Malaysia and Kazakhstan, the first season alone cost around $90 million — one of the biggest production budgets Netflix had greenlit at the time. Two seasons ran from 2014 to 2016, with directors James McTeigue and Joachim Rønning among those behind the camera.
