Santa Clarita Diet (2017) is a Netflix dark comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Sheila and Joel Hammond are your average California suburban realtors — open houses, HOA meetings, sensible minivan. Then Sheila dies. Sort of. She comes back with an enthusiastic appetite for raw human flesh, and Joel decides this is still preferable to divorce.

The two of them scramble to keep Sheila's new dietary requirements hidden from their teenage daughter Abby, their suspicious cop neighbor Dan, and basically the entire zip code. Each attempt to find a discreet source of food goes spectacularly wrong. Drew Barrymore plays Sheila with cheerful manic energy, Timothy Oliphant plays Joel's slow-burn panic with deadpan precision, and together they make undead suburbia feel weirdly domestic.
