Carter Mason grows up helping her dad run a bait shop in rural Louisiana — until he brings home an unexpected houseguest. Her father is a covert agent whose job is to hide endangered royals, and this time his charge is Princess Rosalinda, freshly evacuated from a country mid-coup. The princess has never waited in a lunch line or dealt with a mean girl at school. Carter has never curtsied in her life. Adjusting turns out to be a full-time challenge for both of them.
