Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (2023) is a Netflix anime series you can watch online on iFILM. Based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's beloved graphic novel run, it follows Scott Pilgrim falling for the mysterious Ramona Flowers — and discovering her seven evil exes come with the package, each armed with combat abilities that defy ordinary physics.

The original 2010 film cast is fully back as voice actors: Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Chris Evans, Brie Larson, Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza and the rest returned to their roles. Japanese studio Science SARU handled the animation — the same team behind Devilman Crybaby and Shiva Baby's visual style. The familiar setup gets flipped hard within the first two episodes, steering the story somewhere neither the comic nor Edgar Wright's film went.
