Synopsis
Illegal Tender (2007) is an American crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Franc Reyes. Until she couldn't.
The gangsters who killed his father come looking, and the film pivots: Wanda De Jesus' Vilma stops running and picks up a gun instead. Reyes directed the New York street film Empire in 2002 and brings similar Latino urban energy here, with Puerto Rico as the backdrop for a reckoning between generations.
