Synopsis
Human Trafficking (2005) is a Canadian-American miniseries you can watch online on iFILM. Director Christian Duguay follows the intertwined fates of four women — a Ukrainian teenager lured by a modeling agency, a 12-year-old American girl snatched during a family vacation in Southeast Asia, a single mother from Prague seduced by a wealthy businessman, and a Romanian girl who drove to meet an internet stranger.
All four end up trapped in the same machinery: trafficked across borders and sold into sexual slavery. ICE agent Kate Morrozow, played by Mira Sorvino, and immigration officer Bill Meehan, played by Donald Sutherland, work the case from the other side — racing through bureaucracy and dead ends to find the victims before the trail goes cold. Robert Carlyle plays the recruiter: charming, patient, utterly ruthless.
The series draws on documented survivor accounts and real trafficking routes. It doesn't editorialize. It just shows how the system works. Stream Human Trafficking (2005) online on iFILM.
