Synopsis
Extras (2005–2007) — watch online on iFILM: a BBC Two and HBO comedy series created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, the team behind the original UK Office. Andy Millman quit his desk job five years ago to become an actor. He has yet to deliver a single line of dialogue on screen.
Each episode drops Andy alongside a different celebrity guest who turns out to be far more ridiculous off-camera than on. Kate Winslet dispenses advice on how to win an Oscar. Daniel Radcliffe does his best to escape the Harry Potter shadow. Ashley Jensen plays Andy's loyal, quietly heartbreaking friend, grounding every joke the show makes about fame and failure. Two seasons, six episodes each, plus a Christmas special where Gervais and Merchant pull the rug out from under everything they built.
