Synopsis
Mojin: The Tomb of Ghost (2021) is a Chinese adventure-fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Chen Juli, it digs into the popular Candle in the Tomb world of grave robbers chasing buried secrets across rural China.
Hu Bayi and Wang Kaixuan arrive in a remote village where a local girl has lost her mind. The villagers swear she angered the gods; Hu Bayi has no patience for superstition. Then a hunter named Zhao mentions that his daughter suffered the same affliction and recovered after eating mushrooms from an ancient cave. The two set off to find it — and underground they stumble onto a vast, abandoned mansion. That doorway opens onto a descent that not everyone walks back out of.
Running 103 minutes, the film keeps the brisk rhythm of a proper tomb-raiding romp: traps, old curses, restless spirits and a wink of humor along the way.
