DARLING in the FRANXX (Season 1)

DARLING in the FRANXX (ダーリン・イン・ザ・フランキス, 2018) is a mecha anime series co-produced by Studio Trigger and A-1 Pictures — watch online on iFILM. In a ruined future, what remains of humanity rolls across a scorched Earth inside armored mobile cities. Children are bred for a single purpose: pilot giant robots called FRANXX and fight the klaxosaurs threatening everything above ground.

Hiro — pilot code 016, once a prodigy, now a washout — is days away from being discarded when a mysterious girl with red horns appears on plantation grounds. She calls him "Darling." Her name is Zero Two, and everyone warns him to stay away. The series runs 24 episodes and delivers a complete ending. Lead voices are Yuto Uemura and Haruka Tomatsu.
