Our Planet (Seasons 1–2)

Our Planet (2019) is a Netflix documentary series you can watch online on iFILM, produced in partnership with WWF. Eight episodes, each built around a single ecosystem: frozen worlds, jungles, coastal seas, freshwater, high seas, forests, grasslands, and one final episode pulling everything together. Sir David Attenborough narrates throughout.

The production took four years and sent crews to more than 50 countries. Some of the footage was genuinely new — walruses tumbling down Arctic cliffs, flamingo colonies shifting as lake levels drop, whale sharks feeding in slow spirals off the coast of Djibouti. Each episode closes with a direct segment on what is already changing in that habitat, no softening. The series pairs the spectacle with a precise account of what is at stake.
