"Eshq Mamnou'" (Aşk-ı Memnu, 2008) is a Turkish family drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Hilal Saral, it adapts Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil's classic novel: wealthy Istanbul widower Adnan Ziyagil remarries, bringing the young and beautiful Bihter into his Bosphorus mansion — and into close proximity with his nephew Behlül.

Adnan's daughter Nihal resents the new stepmother. Behlül is drawn to Bihter. Bihter herself is caught between a marriage she entered with her eyes open and a passion she did not plan. Beren Saat carries the series in a performance that refuses to reduce her character to either a victim or a schemer. The show ran for three seasons and became one of Turkey's biggest television exports of its era.
