Kousei Arima was a child piano prodigy who swept every competition — until his mother died and the sound simply stopped. He could still press the keys. He just couldn't hear himself play anymore. Two years of silence followed.

Then a violinist named Kaori Miyazono blows into his life and plays nothing like the textbook says she should: loud, unsteady, electric. She drags Kousei back onto the stage, and for the first time in years the music feels real again. Natsuки Hanae voices Kousei, Risa Taneda voices Kaori. The 22-episode series adapts Naoshi Arakawa's manga of the same name.
