Synopsis
Adam's Sweet Agony (2024) is a Japanese anime series worth watching online on iFILM. Directed by Toshiaki Kanbara, it builds its story around a global pandemic that has left virtually every man on Earth impotent — with one exception.
High school student Itsuki Sonomiya has antibodies that block the virus. He is, in effect, the last functioning Adam on a planet of four billion Eves. To keep scientists and officials from turning him into a lab subject, he transfers to a very unusual school — ninety percent female. His new classmates include an upbeat upperclassman, a thoroughly frustrated teacher, a tomboyish school "prince," and an heiress with her own agenda. Everyone has a plan for Itsuki. He just needs to keep his secret intact.
