Cardcaptor Sakura (カードキャプターさくら, 1998) is a beloved magical-girl anime you can watch online on iFILM — 70 episodes produced by Madhouse, based on the manga series by the four-woman collective CLAMP. Ten-year-old Sakura Kinomoto finds a sealed book in her father's basement, accidentally releases the Clow Cards into the world, and gets handed the job of collecting them all.

Guardian beast Kero coaches Sakura through every encounter while her best friend Tomoyo records everything on video. Then Li Shaoran arrives from Hong Kong, a rival with his own claim to the cards and his own magical training. The competition between them shifts slowly, episode by episode, into something harder to define. Sakura Tange voices the lead with a warmth that never tips into saccharine.
