Imagine

Imagine (2012) is a Polish-French drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Andrzej Jakimowski and shot in Lisbon. Ian, a blind spatial orientation instructor, joins a specialist clinic and starts pushing his students — also visually impaired — to navigate the city on their own, guided by sound and instinct rather than caution.

Edward Hogg plays Ian; Alexandra Maria Lara is the student whose response to his methods becomes the film's emotional centre. Jakimowski lets Lisbon itself do a lot of the work — its soundscape and light come through with unusual clarity.
