Heidi

Eight-year-old Heidi arrives at her grandfather's isolated mountain hut and quickly falls into the rhythm of the highlands — roaming the meadows with goat herder Peter, breathing clean air, far from the city. Then her aunt steps in and ships her to a wealthy Frankfurt household, where Heidi is expected to be a companion to Klara, a girl confined to a wheelchair. The comforts of the Sesemann mansion do nothing to ease her longing for the peaks and the old man's silence.
