Synopsis
The Rental (2020) is a horror thriller you can watch online on iFILM — and the feature directorial debut of Dave Franco. Two couples book a cliffside rental house for the weekend and slowly realize the property owner may be watching their every move.
Charlie and Misha arrive to celebrate a business win. Charlie's brother Josh comes along with his girlfriend. The house is remote, beautiful, right on the rocks above the ocean. The host denied Misha's original booking request and shows up with a cold edge that sits wrong from the start. Dan Stevens, Alison Brie, and Jeremy Allen White play people who already have things to hide before anyone outside the door starts digging. At 88 minutes the film doesn't waste a scene.
