Friend Request

Friend Request (2016) is a horror thriller from director Simon Verhoeven that you can watch online on iFILM. Alycia Debnam-Carey plays Laura, a well-liked college student with more than 800 friends online.

Things turn when Laura accepts a request from Marina, a withdrawn loner who instantly latches on, floods her with messages and refuses to take a hint. After Laura unfriends her, the girl films her own suicide, and from then on grisly videos start posting themselves to Laura's profile while the people around her die one by one. Verhoeven hangs the scares on the news feed and a friend count that keeps dropping.
