Synopsis
QI (Quite Interesting, 2003) is a BBC comedy quiz show you can watch online on iFILM, with permanent panellist Alan Davies and host Sandi Toksvig firing questions where the obvious answer usually costs you points.
The format flips the quiz-show contract: wrong answers that happen to be fascinating score; correct answers that turn out to be boring lose. Each series is organised around a letter of the alphabet, and every episode is packed with obscure facts designed to make you question things you were sure you knew — animal behaviour, historical myths, the gap between what science has proven and what most people still believe. Guest comedians, writers, and actors compete mainly in wit.
