Shameless (2004) is the Channel 4 comedy-drama series you can watch online on iFILM. David Threlfall plays Frank Gallagher — a spectacularly useless drunk who somehow keeps fathering children on a rough Manchester council estate. His kids do most of the actual parenting themselves.

Eldest daughter Fiona holds the household together: paying bills, cooking meals, covering for whatever Frank has broken or spent on beer. When Steve, a well-off lad, falls for her and wanders into their world, the collision of two very different lives drives much of the early drama. The show is filtered through the perspective of fifteen-year-old Philip — sharp, disillusioned and growing up at twice the normal speed.
