Animaniacs (1993) is the Warner Bros. animated comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. Yakko, Wakko and Dot were supposedly created in the 1930s — then locked in the studio water tower for being too unruly for anyone to handle. The 90s set them free. Nobody was ready.

The three Warner siblings careen through Hollywood back lots, film sets and celebrity encounters, leaving wreckage and wordplay in equal measure. The show packs in dozens of recurring characters: Pinky and the Brain, two lab mice who spend every night plotting world domination and every night failing at it. Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell and Tress MacNeille voice the Warner trio; Maurice LaMarche gives Brain his imperious baritone. The humour ricochets between slapstick and sharp cultural satire aimed squarely at adults.
