Hunter x Hunter (Season 1)

Hunter x Hunter (HUNTER×HUNTER, 1999) is a Japanese anime series you can watch online on iFILM. Produced by Nippon Animation and based on Yoshihiro Togashi's manga, it follows twelve-year-old Gon Freecss after he discovers his father — long thought dead — is actually one of the world's most celebrated Hunters.

Hunters are licensed professionals who track rare beasts, map uncharted territories, and chase the most dangerous criminals alive. The entry exam weeds out nearly all candidates, and people die every year attempting it. Gon travels from Whale Island to take the test, picking up three companions along the way: the assassin-trained Killua, the strategist Kurapika driven by revenge, and the future doctor Leorio who wants to prove something to himself. Their paths keep crossing whether they plan it or not.
