To Rob a Thief

To Rob a Thief (Ladrón que roba a ladrón, 2007) is a Spanish-language heist comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Two former con men set their sights on the biggest crook they know — a slick TV pitchman who got rich selling fake cures and miracle trinkets to poor Latino immigrants. Robbing him, they figure, barely counts as a crime.

The twist is the crew. Instead of pros, they recruit amateurs nobody will look at twice, because guards never notice immigrants: a father and his tomboy daughter, a jittery Cuban actor, a tech guy and a strongman. Together they have to slip into a guarded mansion, lift two keys to a hidden vault, and get the cash out clean. Fernando Colunga and Miguel Varoni lead, and old loyalties between thief and target complicate everything.
