Synopsis
Hardball (2001) is an American drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Brian Robbins and starring Keanu Reeves. Conor O'Neill has gambled away every dollar he owns and owes a friend a debt he can't cover. The deal to pay it off: coach a Little League team in Chicago's Cabrini-Green housing project for five hundred a week.
O'Neill shows up with zero interest in being there. The kids from Cabrini-Green have seen plenty of adults walk out on them. But over the course of the season — through losses, arguments and one or two moments of real baseball — something shifts between coach and team. Diane Lane plays the schoolteacher O'Neill is trying to impress. Michael B. Jordan appears in one of his early film roles. The film runs 106 minutes.
