The Kid

One night a chubby, earnest eight-year-old named Rusty shows up in Russ Duritz's house and won't leave. The boy is Russ. His own past self, somehow transported forty years forward — and thoroughly unimpressed. No dog, no wife, no sense of fun: kid-Rusty can't believe this is what he grows into. Lilly Tomlin plays Russ's long-suffering assistant, Emily Mortimer his would-be love interest.
