The Score

Career thief Nick Wells (De Niro) has two personal rules: always work alone, never pull a job in Montreal, where he lives. His fence Max (Brando) breaks both at once, pushing Nick to partner with a slick young con named Jack (Norton) for a single massive score — cracking a custom-house vault in the middle of the city. Jack is sharp, unpredictable, and clearly running his own angle.

The film spends most of its 124 minutes on the planning and the mutual distrust between two pros who read each other perfectly and trust each other not at all.
