Three people who have never met share one devastating thread: a malevolent entity called "the Guest" tore through their childhoods and left bodies behind. Now, years later, it is active again.

The trio — a shaman born into a family of spiritual practitioners, a Catholic priest haunted by what happened to his relatives, and a detective who has always refused to believe in anything she can't photograph — are pulled together by a fresh wave of killings. Director Kim Hong-sun keeps the show moving like a procedural but fills it with the logic of possession horror: the demon doesn't choose random victims, it finds people already fractured by grief and uses the cracks.
